The VisionAir IEQ app is an easy-to-use calculator tool derived from the VisionAir IEQ software. As in the full version of the software, the app uses a state-of-the-art calculation method based on air filtration expertise gained over a century of bringing clean air to life. The app allows a user to estimate the particle concentration within a space in a few simple steps. Calculations are performed based upon the entry of variables such as filtration efficiency, number of people occupying the space, internal contamination generation, and outdoor air pollution.
In addition, the app is designed to provide side-by-side comparisons of two different scenarios, demonstrating the impact on air quality in the space when a portable air purifier is added.
In this comparison, the app contrasts the particle concentrations in these scenarios using the same size ranges used by government agencies and the World Health Organization: PM 10, PM 2.5, and PM 1.0. In so doing, this simulation helps the user to identify the ideal clean air solution for a given space and set of circumstances
