彭泽县位于江西省最北部，汉高祖六年（公元前201年）建县，以“彭蠡泽（今鄱阳湖）在西”而得名，素有“七省扼塞”、“赣北大门”之称。东晋陶渊明曾为彭泽令，以“不为五斗米折腰”的气节著名中外，史称“陶彭泽”。唐代名相狄仁杰在彭泽令任内，勤政惠民，倍受百姓爱戴，贤名远扬。近代著名书画家陶博吾的字画再现了彭泽优美宁静的自然生态风光。一直以来，彭泽县委、县政府始终秉承悠久的历史文化底蕴，以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导，坚持生态优先、绿色发展，努力开创彭泽高质量跨越式发展新局面，共绘新时代青山好处惟彭泽的新画卷
