Intuitive AeroPress Recipe Tracking with Room for Privacy Improvements

Aeromatic is a brilliant app for trying and tracking AeroPress recipes. Its intuitive design makes it easy to navigate, and I love the inclusion of various grinders with suggested settings, which is a huge plus for refining brewing techniques. While I have some concerns about the privacy policy, especially regarding data tracking, I’m not too alarmed, as it feels transparent about its practices. Overall, this app is fantastic for learning new ways to brew with AeroPress and exploring different recipes easily.

You don't just retroactively charge for a free app

If you want to charge for the app charge the new users big don't stop the old users from using the same app they already purchased for free. Specially when it's an extremely basic app like this. Deleted.

Thanks for the feedback! Nobody has been asked to purchase the app a second time, but we have a freemium model which helps cover ongoing server and development costs. This is similar to other apps in this category.

A small number of users (including yourself) installed the app before in-app purchasing had been implemented in June 2021. We gave these users complimentary Aeromatic Premium for the remainder of the year as a thank you for being early adopters. This was mentioned in a banner on the account/settings page, which we realize not everyone will have seen, so we will work on improving our in-app messaging in the future.
