More than a game, a community!

Chess With Friends! is our fun take on the classic chess game. Play online, challenge your friends, play on the go, test your skills against the computer, and just have fun with the game! Use this app to help learn the basics of chess and create a deeper understanding of one of the oldest games there are.

Chess with Friends offers a wide variety of games and variants including:
- Matchmaking
- Daily Challenges
- Bullet
- Blitz
- Rapid
- Gen Chess
- Knights & Bishops
- And more!

Play chess online with your friends in a peer-to-peer game, or over matchmaking! Test your skills against the clock or against the computer. Or just enjoy the daily challenges that are now available with version 2.2.0 and up.

Chess with Friends also offers a few exclusive game types including GenChess (currently in Beta). We hope to continue to add new game types and features that help make chess fun and grow the Chess with Friends community.

Previous update changes:
- Daily challenges are now here! Each day a random puzzle will is generated for you to see if you can win!
- Daily challenges can be played with or without an account
- Updated discord link to fix the issues with the prior link
- New direct email contact added for members
- Added in additional navigation away from the login screen if needed
- Notifications are now displayed to you when you send an invite/challenge
- We have added our Discord Community Link in the settings for easier access to message us and request features
- Added a forgot password option for all email log-ins
- The initial home screen for users without an account now matches what users with an account see when logged in
- Fixed the issue with the friends list concerning pulling in users
- You can now switch between game types in the without having to leave the Host/Join screen
- Introducing the Garage - here you can find all of our beta Chess variants including GenChess, Knights & Bishops, Pawns Only, and more coming soon!
- You can now add friends and invite them to games without having to leave the app!
- Major styling updates to the Home Screen, the private multiplayer screens, and overall look and feel of the app!
- Updates to Timed Games
- Language updates for all of our Spanish, French, and German users!
- Additional bug fixes, and minor styling updates
