Our beloved Om Nom is on another quest for candy, and not even the supernatural will get in the way of his sweet tooth. Featuring a totally revamped (and gorgeous) visual style and tons of new gameplay elements, Cut the Rope: Magic totally transforms the series—as well as our hungry hero. For the first time ever, Om Nom can morph into all sorts of creatures—from a bird to a baby to a mouse—to solve each enchanting puzzle.

Core game is fun
Cut the rope has its gameplay perfected. I won't give five stars however, because of a design decision that bothers me a lot, which has little to do with the actual game design.
Before playing, the game asks me for my age. But still in one of the first few levels it goes out of its way to make me feel stupid. I didn't get the solution right away, because I'm aiming for 3 stars. But the game took away my control, and forced me to take their pixie hint.
I know this is meant to introduce the pixie concept to the player in the hopes that they use it and hopefully buy more, but taking away my choice to use it and then handing out the solution for a level I was obviously going to figure out is a BIG no-no.
I initially left it at that because it isn't that deep, but later, the game again took away my controls as a player, and practically forced me to watch an ad before continuing. What the hell? First of all, I paid for this game, I should not see any ads on here that I do not want to see. And second of all, I don't need any of this monetized currency so don't force me to "earn" any either with these ads. In between levels there was also an ad that was just weird with om nom battling in a tank. Like what? Either you make this game free to play and you put all the ads in it you want, or you let me pay for it and keep the ads away from me.
I would've given a lower score just because of this sad business practice, but that wouldn't be fair to the devs who made such a pretty and well-crafted game. Such a shame.
