Description
Falconers want the confidence that comes with a superior falcon tracking product. Hallux GPS will give you this confidence. And if you lose your bird, the SOS feature allows you to get tracking assistance from hundreds of other falconers.
Hallux GPS evolved from our collaboration with The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and their work tracking bats that carry the Ebola virus. Hallux GPS was originally introduced as a GPS tracker for bats.
With this app, falconers can not only track a lost falcon but also have the following features at their disposal.
• S.O.S. feature throws an electronic net over your bird, with other users’ cooperation.
• Encrypted GPS location data to keep your bird’s position secret from others
• PINs prevent others from manipulating your birds’ GPS devices
• Choice of tracking modes for longer and longer battery life
• Post-flight statistics such as maximum speed, maximum altitude, and temperature
• Logging of the hunting flight that you can view and share with others
