Confusing and lacks features
I find the app confusing and it’s lacking features like following event so it’s the first thing when I open the app. I would rather use the website. NT tho
Lacks features, notifications can’t be enabled
This is a stripped-down version of the web client and I’m fine with that. I mostly wanted real-time notifications about everything on my devices, which this app on paper achieves.
The thing is, the notifications can not be enabled. There’s an error about “enable remote notifications”, but nowhere is there an option for that: I checked iOS settings, HLTV setting in the iOS settings, HLTV app settings and HLTV web client settings — not a word about remote notifications. There was “global notifications” in the web client settings but those have been enabled for as long as I can remember to get desktop notifications.
All in all it’s not very useful right now, if you can’t use any of the forum or social features, fantasy etc. BUT you also can’t have notifications about the official sport stuff. I guess I can quickly open the app and check the schedule but it kind of defeats the point when I can already do that using a web browser and this is not in any way easier or more convenient.
If the notifications get fixed, I’ll be a happy user.
Bad update
New look horrible, no forums and all the ”fun” is now gone. Gonna use browser now.
