Game breaking bug

I got to the point where I unlocked staff training. Up until that point it was great! I get my staff training scroll and go use it. The next time I open the game it forces me into a tutorial on how to use the staff training - one of those where you have to do it and can’t do anything else. But since I spent the scroll already it just forces me into the screen to spend it but the button is greyed out and I can’t do anything. I liked the game but if I can’t play it because of bad tutorial design I’ll uninstall
