Professional music studio for iPhone

I've been using XMS for almost a year now. Simply put, this is the best music application for iphone. Trust me, i've tried them all. You can write songs or compose your next symphony in a bus, cafe, or where ever you happen to be. No samples but dozens of virtual instruments in your palm when ever you need them. Every note you record cam be edited and quantized. This is a mini-sized studio sequencer. What more can you need?

Excellent music studio on the go

Very versatile and lots of features. Great catalog of instruments.
Unfortunately the app doesn't work anymore. Not sure but I think that it was after iOS version 12 that the scaling of the app stopped working. On iPhone 8plus you can't get to the mixer or use the play controls. You can only use the virtual keyboard and it's very sad because this was my go to app and I gladly paid for it when it was working. I hope that the author would fix this at some point but it looks like that there hasn't been any updates in two years or so and I fear that the developer doesn't have any intention to update this any more.
But overall it was a great app while it was still working. One of the best features was the midi export function. It allowed me to sketch songs on the go and then finish them at home.

Ei kaikkia ilmaisversion soittimia

Chord padit ovat erinomainen lisä ja ääniraidat tekevät tästä jo hyvinkin monipuolisen ohjelman, tosin edelleenkään ei ohjelmasta löydy syntetisaattoreita vaan kaikki äänet ovat sampleja.

Miinuksia perusinstrumenttivalikoiman suppeudesta ja joidenkin soittimien laadusta. Esim. monet ilmaisversion soittimista pitää ostaa erikseen in-app ostoina. Sekvensseri on selkeästi kilpailijoita hankalampi käyttää.
