Hidden fees

I was charged an extra 7.4€ two days after renting a bike without any kind of explanation. Will I be charged again in the future 😅

The bike was returned in the same condition as I had gotten it and I was charged the correct amount initially when I returned the bike.

Excellent concept

This has been the greatest thing in Germany. I am enjoying so much to ride these bikes. Specially as student when you are under budget and you have these bikes to enjoy the summer and ride for free. Thankyou next bike for making it convenient for us.

Ridiculous app developers!!!

They call and market themselves nextbike by Tier… you trust and rent a bike based on tier experience in an unknown place when you are traveling. The app then sends you an email that you left the in an unofficial location and you will be charged 30€ for that. The distance where the bikes are left is 4-5km from the city location where we picked them up. They were next to a bus station, we saw those and instead of waiting for a bus or Uber/bolt etc we took the bikes. When we were taking, we were hesitant to be honest if it was okay to park anywhere but their app didn’t show any area limitations nor anything mentioned on the website clearly… many apps show you where you can take the bikes and if you need to return to a station etc… nothing is shown nor mentioned… then surprise!!! 30€ extra fee! Ridiculous scammers not knowing how to develop an app and how to design a bike sharing scheme… the bikes are not good neither compared to what I experienced in many other places… 5km is not even an uncommon distance for a bike sharing bikes to be used.. if it’s a wrong place, you then show me warning in the app that I can’t return the bike or if I return I’ll be charged sth more.. and in the first place show me the areas that can be cycled and where bikes can be returned!!!! Without informing the customer and making it seem so easy to get a bike and cycle is really not the most ethical and right way to do business… I hope not many people gets scammed similarly and this company goes bankrupt with such app experience and service model… I’ll try at my best capacity to notify consumer rights entities to end this scam and hope their customer experience and UX developers listen to the feedback and improve their app! Terrible, to be ashamed app experience, congrats to whole team, can’t believe how you come this far!
