Capture Modes & Formats

Obscura captures photos, videos, Live Photos, and portraits. Photos can captured in RAW, ProRAW, HEIC, and JPEG (on supported devices, see http://obscura.camera/compatibility).

Capture images in multiple different aspect ratios, or filters live in camera for a wide variety of styles.

No OIS

There’s no option to toggle on optical image stabilization in RAW mode. All pictures taken in darker environments turn out to be blurry. Now using iPhone 8 and I didn’t have the same problem with the 7 Plus. Is this a problem with a different sensor or software?

It was my understanding that Optical Image Stabilisation was always disabled when shooting RAW, on all devices. But I'm going to investigate further. Feel free to get in touch with me at support@obscura.studio if you want to discuss this in more detail!
