OnIt is a simple app that helps you manage your tasks and stay organised in the most natural way. No emails, usernames or lengthy sign-ups. Install the app and start sending tasks to your contacts straight away.
Type it up, record an audio or video or simply send a gif - whatever your communication style, we got you!
- Forgot to get milk? Send your partner an audio task and we’ll make sure they don’t forget too.
- Need to pay the water bill by Friday? Set up a task for yourself and we’ll remind you until it’s done.
- Do you need your colleague to send you a first draft by 5pm? Send them a task and help them keep on top of it.
If others ever need help, they can send you tasks too - you can either accept or decline and we'll let them know.

I really want to like OnIt
OnIt has been an interesting addition in the todo apps I try out: It has a nice UI, great task delegation with notifications and updates to all parties, and my favorite feature; the ability to start tasks and finish them seperately.
Now to the reasons I really cannot keep using the app — lack of polish.
The app doesn’t have any ways to sort the tasks. I would’ve at least expected the default sort to be from closest deadline to the farthest, it is not. The default and only sort is by creation time from newest to oldeat.
The task date picker sometimes stops responding to input, which can be quite annoying.
In conclusion, OnIt has great potential but lacks a significant amout of polish to make the user experiece pain free and fast.

We understand that sorting is an important aspect and we're currently working on that as well as a more general re-do of some app screens to make it even easier to use.
