Description
Use your phone to unlock city bikes all over Oslo! This app makes it easy to locate a bike nearby and see which locks are available while riding.
This is the official app from Oslo City Bike.
You can save your trips into the Apple Health app so you'll get credited for the effort, if you're into that kind of thing. Give Health access via the account view within the app.

Ratings and Reviews
First time user in Oslo..
It’s a pity one cannot rent bikes for the family from one account. My kids phones have data limitations and it would be convenient to book several bikes from one account. Secondly, returning the bike to the dock wasn’t obvious (you need to also lift it). Other than that the experience was good.
Unpleasant user experience
1. No possibility to choose which bike you want. Some of the bikes had seagull poop on them or the seat was broken so this added extra work when getting the bike. Make it possible for the customer to choose the bike they want.
2. No possibility to leave a bike at a full station. There could be some chain/lock system so that you can leave a bike next to a full station.
3. Finding an empty station was way too hard. Once I had to go to 6 different stations to find an empty spot and my few-hour trip was too much about finding spots for my bike. Few times I almost didn’t make it in the one hour limit to an empty station. For a new user the map was also hard to understand and you can’t be checking it anyways while you’re cycling. So you should have way more empty spots than bikes and workers evening out the amount of bikes in each station.
4. No possibility to leave feedback on the app or website and I don’t even know if anyone will read this. So maybe add a feedback form in the app.
I know I wasn’t the only one struggling with these things since I saw many other people with the same problems. I’ve used city bikes in few other cities too and none of those had these issues so these are definitely fixable.
