IN-APP PURCHASES

Robotek is free to play supported only by optional in-app purchases. You can finish the entire game without re-charging your energy. Play it safe: Learn all of the symbols in tutorial. Do not challenge nodes tougher than you. Master the gameplay, level up and go against weaker nodes first! You can always reset the campaign in Options and start from scratch.

However with any in-app purchase you get:
• Power & Coins
• gain access to RECHARGE NODE
• better Power gains for every victory
• unlock the DUEL mode to play with friends

Too much based on luck

But otherwise a fun strategy game. Possible to play without in app purchases... with a bit of luck...

Mostly luck, little strategy

First the game play is addictive and appealing as you find out the different properties of attacks etc. But fairly quickly, after about 5 opponents or so, you will have mastered all strategy this game has to it and mostly every game round after that boils down to pure luck. And then no new game elements appeared.

The makers claim that it is possible to play this game through without making purchases during the game. This is technically true in the same sence that you can win 1M $ in the next lottery. So you are warned. I got as far as about 1/7 of the levels with my win/lose ratio and now the only way forward would be to purchase more energy points. For me this is a big no no. I'd rather buy full game than pay et infinitum during the game.

The absence of new elements during the game play and the obvious money milking mentality of the makers brings it down to one star, despite the initial appeal.
