Version 10.2

APPLE WATCH USERS: in this release, we’ve added audio cues for free runs! This means you can now hear audio cues for starting, stopping, and pausing your activity, as well as key stat updates (like your average pace), without bringing your phone along!

NEW: You can now choose whether to receive notifications when your friends complete activities in the app under Settings > Push Notifications. With these notifications, you can track your friends’ progress and congratulate them when they finish a workout!

Marathon training

Purchased Runkeeper Go to test it for marathon training. Was very satisfied overall. Could set the date of the race, the targeted time and the frequency of training sessions. The app then calculated backwards and gave me a good training programme to start immediately. Nice mix of long runs, diverse types of intervals and recovery runs. Flexibility to log in a particular session on a different day if I wanted. The biggest minus came on the race day: the app treated the whole marathon as one single interval. Therefore average pace and interval pace were all the time the same. Suggestion: on race day, the app should assume 1 km or 0.5 km intervals, so that one could hear any difference compared to the average pace
