Inspiring 3d modelling program for iPad
This is a tool that is inspiring and fun to use. Once you get hang of it, everything is possible.
I love it but I’m moving to fusion 360
The app is wonderful to work with just until you need to create a STL file and can’t justify the license fee for hobby purposes.
The yearly license is more than a 3D printer. Simply not feasible.
If I could get an hobby license which had no limitations regarding importing designs from other files and no limitations in exporting STL files for 1/10 of the pro license I would continue using this app under such a license. I have no issues with paying a reasonable license fee, but the pro license is not reasonable for me. As there is no interest in giving us such a license I give up.
The free version creates tetradecagons out of round holes when exporting to STL. Simply not precise enough.
So I’m finalizing my last design in this app, I might pay for one month to get out a few high res STL on some designs I’ve invested a lot of time in but any new project will be done in fusion 360 instead. So I’m out. It means I can’t design properly on an iPad and have to resort to using a pc. Sad, this app is so great to work with.
