Description
What is ShodoCAM ?
Shodo “書道” means “Calligraphy” in Japanese language, in particular refers to Japanese Kanji Calligraphy (Kanji = Chinese character in Japanese language. Chinese calligraphy is the origin of Japanese calligraphy).
Shodo is not only one traditional art form. In Chinese/Japanese culture it also reflects the perspective of how Asian people see the world by the character’s meaning and visual expression.
Thanks to the technology today we can create phone app like the ShodoCAM to let all of you easily try and enjoy creating your own photo art with Kanji calligraphy. Our key member Ken is a professional calligrapher. The Kanji sets are 100% handwritten and originally created by traditional Shodo techniques and art philosophy.
We welcome everyone to try picking up the Kanjis you like and take photos. Don't worry whether you can read Kanji or not, by using this app we believe you will feel something unique and fun.
