not very playable

i used to be a supaplex fanatic when i was younger so i bought this app for like eur 5... a price for which this game would be well worth buying. nevertheless the ”shift-spacebar” action where you can eat a positron next to you, just doesnt work the way it has been programmed in this app. the game requires particular amount of agility to finish the levels successfully and you just cant do that with the current controls

if the developers mention that ”this control is very challenging to set up” then perhaps you should have found some other game from the old times that you could have developed instead of this one? alternatively you may find a way to fix this problem...

You can adjust the location, size, and brightness of the control buttons. To grab an item next to Murphy without moving, simply tap the screen where you feel most comfortable and hold down the touch (the arrows around Murphy will flash) and press the direction button.

There is support for gamepads.
The game supports the keyboard.

Total scam!

There is no original soundtrack or menus and I just lost my up/down controls while trying to adjust them, seriously I have no up/down keys anymore! The menu is terrible and I could not find the controls for the "eat the adjacent square" action the original PC version had (space+arrow if i remember correctly). Avoid unless you are a super hardcore fan and can't live without it.

Please update the game.
The feature when MURPHY is still, but takes something from the neighbouring cells of the playing field is used quite often. It is very simply implemented in Mac and Apple TV - with the help of additional keys. We have worked very hard and conducted experiments on how to make it convenient for the iPhone and iPad users. And we've managed! Just tap your finger anywhere on the screen and hold it where you prefer! Arrows will start flashing around MURPHY indicating that he is ready to take something from the neighboring cells of the playing field. Now it is only necessary to specify the destination!

We can say it another way. Take any two levels and you will feel how comfortable and easy it is to play on your iPhone or iPad!

It is a good effort, but the game does not have the same feel as the original version. Murphy looks different, sounds are not the same and the controls are hard.
