Sovellus tarjoaa yksinkertaisen ja selkeän kyselyn, jonka täyttäminen kestää noin 10 minuuttia.Terveydenhuollon ammattilainen voi käyttää kartoituksen tuloksia apunaan vastaanotolla ja potilaskertomuksen tekemisessä. Sovellus ei lähetä vastauksia nettitietokantaan, vaan ne tallennetaan ainoastaan käyttäjän puhelimeen, josta ne voidaan turvallisesti siirtää ammattilaisen nähtäväksi.Tohtori Latvus on psykiatrian erikoislääkäreiden kehittämä, ja sen on tuottanut oululainen lääkäripalveluyritys Hefaistos Oy. Sovelluksen tavoitteena on helpottaa ja tehostaa mielenterveysongelmien hoitoa Suomessa.
