Addictive pay to win game

Good things: * the community is generally helpful. I’m not talking about the in game world chat but the other discussion forums: discord and their own Web forum. Though the latter is quite quiet now. * the empire vs empire battles are most addicting part. Are you in a good empire? If not find better one.
The developers are still updating the game and bring in new content and events. There’s events almost every week.
* the lieutenants and role playing
* class system.
* at times 20k-50k players online at same time. This happens mostly during ingame events
* new players have nowadays rather good path towards medium level player due to free energy refills etc.
Bad: update rate has slowed down, the lack of detail on small things such as lieutenant Bios missing, item descriptions lack info where you can get it. The game user interface could do an overhaul to improve the user experience. You have to log in daily to stay up to speed or you fall behind. You got to spend some money if you want to play at the top level. The pace of events and not updating at faster pace feels like the developers are more Inter in cashing in fast rather than fixing bugs. Most annoying problem is top level empires battles have serious lag and one cannot play effectively. It’s called tripping and one cannot use tokens to attack enemies. This seems like insufficient server resources or the game is just overwhelmed with all the user activity.
* in general the gameplay feels slow and you got the loading spinner all the time on the screen.
* some people have so much in game items on their account that it takes forever to view their profile.
* there’s a lot of inactive empires and players
* not much chance for new players to catch top players.
* this game can take too much time from you. You got to baby sit it as there are things happening around the clock. Eg collect this and collect that.
