The iPhone and iPad application of the Torre Alfina Castle is an essential tool for learning about the history of the castle and its main protagonists in a new dimension known as the metaverse.

The main functions are: the consultation of the institutional site in its entirety, the section, always updated, dedicated to booking visits, the viewing of a splendid three-dimensional model of the castle in mixed reality with the possibility of interacting with a guide equipped with artificial intelligence who will answer all questions concerning the castle, its history and that of its main protagonists, the function of unlocking the guided tour that can only be used if you are inside the castle and, finally, a section dedicated to general information with details of the functions, the activation of 'Maps' to easily reach the Borgo di Torre Alfina, the page dedicated to Privacy and Cookies.

For adequate enjoyment of the augmented reality content, it is important to have a good Internet connection.

The guided tour of the Torre Alfina Castle is activated thanks to the unlock function by reading a qr-code after purchasing the entrance ticket.
Once the language has been selected from Italian, English, German, French and Spanish, the application downloads all the multimedia content and is ready to start the tour, beginning in the beautiful Renaissance Courtyard.
The voice of the guide and the avatars will tell an incredible and engaging story that, starting from the Middle Ages, will go through all the main historical, artistic and cultural periods with also unique experiential and immersive contributions. Some areas of the Castle that are currently inaccessible will become visitable through virtual reality passages that the application will activate automatically and contextually to the narrative moment.

At the end of the visit, in the splendid Salone Sforza Monaldeschi, you will be able to entertain yourself with adventurers, monks and medieval ladies and some of the protagonists of the castle's history in the incredible metaverse of the Torre Alfina application. The application is able to send push notifications (if enabled by the user) to signal news and events, to geolocalise the user in order to send push notifications, and to recognise voice dictation to speak directly with avatars.
