Description

This app will be a useful resource for the novice or seasoned EKG reader. The novice reader will benefit from having to approach each EKG in a methodical manner. By routinely evaluating each component, the user should become more efficient and accurate in their assessment and interpretation. Example images of abnormal findings are imbedded throughout and accessed with a simple touch. The seasoned user will find it useful for the more challenging tracings and diagnostic conundrums that might be less frequently encountered. After all abnormal findings are entered by touching the appropriate buttons, a list of potential differential diagnoses is generated. Overdoses, electrolyte disorders, and arrhythmias are examples of the possible differentials that are generated. No guarantee of accuracy is made and the user should always consider patient history and rely on sound clinical reasoning and training to make treatment decisions. A basic EKG education and understanding is required. No internet connection is needed. Visit the website for more information.
*Do not include PAC's or PVC's when inputting findings.
