Description
The latest Denon Marantz audio video products use Audyssey MultEQ for simple, accurate set-up calibration of your system to the room in which it’s used. But, now you can go further with the Audyssey MultEQ Editor app, going ‘under the hood’ to view and adjust settings for detailed tuning – allowing you to customize the sound more precisely to the specific problems in your room, and tailor the sound to your personal preferences. With this comprehensive app, you can harness the power of Audyssey MultEQ to take total control of the way your home cinema sounds.
This app will allow you to:
•View the speaker detection results, to check correct installation
•View before and after results of the Audyssey calibration, making it easy to identify room problems.
•Edit the Audyssey target curve for each channel pair to suit your tastes
•Adjust the overall EQ frequency rolloff for each channel pair
•Switch between 2 high frequency rolloff target curves
•Enable/Disable midrange compensation to make the sound brighter or smoother
•Save and load calibration results

Audissey II est déjà très performant, mais avec cette app, vous pourrez mettre les mains dans le cambouis très simplement. Corriger les courbes à la main est un jeu d’enfant. L’interface est pas terrible, mais reste efficace.
Je trouve cependant que ce produit reste un peu cher.
Bug corrigé
La derniere version a corrigé les bugs d'affichage de courbes. Ce logiciel devient donc pour moi tout simplement indispensable pour qui s'y connait un minimum et veux maitriser un peu son calibrage. Je profiterai bientot d'un recalibrage pour comparer ces resultats qui me semblent parfois un peu optimistes sur la capacité de grave de certaines de mes enceintes avec ceux issus d'un système plus pro avec un micro calibré.
Cela etant avec mon 4300h j'ai obtenu des valeurs et des distances pas trop delirantes notamment les distances exactes presque au centimetre pres alors qu'avec mon viel onkyo et une version ancienne d'audyssey c'etait n'importe quoi. Bien sur le caisson reste un cas à part à cause de sa latence interne et de l'accoustique speciale de la piece.
Enfin, a l'ecoute le son obtenu apres calibration est bel est bien plus ouvert et equilibré, les basses percutantes sans etre baveuses.. et c'est bien l'essentiel!
Appli très utile
J’utilisais l’appli native AUDISSEY MultEQ XT de mon appli Denon, mais j’arrivais au bout - aux limites de l’appli pour affiner les réglages d’égalisation du son (variété d’instruments, voix…).
Une bonne égalisation est complexe, surtout quand on n’est pas Ingenieur du son et qu’on ne dispose pas d’outils d’égalisation haut de gamme…
Mais après consultation forums divers et variés, j’ai acheté l’appli sur Apple Store AUDISSEY MULTEQ EDITOR.
J’ai bien fait, car cette appli est très utile et simple d’utilisation pour aider à égaliser son home cinéma.
On l’utilise sur iPhone et iPad pour initialiser/configurer le home cinéma à l’aide du micro fourni avec l’ampli. Ensuite le système effectué toutes les mesure et les réglages.
Ensuite avec l’appli on peut affiner/personnaliser les réglages AUDISSEY en fonction de ses goûts.
L’appli dispose de courbes fréquences / dB pour régler chaque enceintes du HC et ainsi corriger la sonorité de la pièce d’écoute.
Donc le coût est amorti vu l’aide apportée et les crises de nerfs évités surtout pour les oreilles pointilleuses !
Juste un bémol, le réglage des courbes avec le doigt sur l’écran pas toujours très évident… peut être un écran large et/ou un stylet serait plus approprié pour corriger les points sur les courbes…
