BlueHarvest 4+

Version 5.5.9 installed for try and after that i’ve bought the paid version from Apple Store in 6.1.6 version but 2 problems (send a mail to support provider for that):

I've bought BlueHarvest from Apple Store in last version 6.1.6 the 02/07/2015 for 14,99€ but I've got 2 problems :

Today BlueHarevest inform me that my training period is over… So I make an uninstall and I go to Apple Store to bought the product (don’t remember i’ve already bought it, no mail receive after that and no other information, bizarre...) and Apple Store answer me I ‘ve already bought this product and I can install it. So I make a fresh install. But there is 2 problems:

1) The version installed from Apple Store is 5.5.9 not 6.1.6 as announced (even after uninstallation and reinstallation) no possibility to update from the software or from the Apple Store ( my OS is Maverick 10.9).

2) Blueharvest seems to be unregistred (Serial & Name are missing in Blueharvest menu registration). So after a month Blueharvest probably will call me to paid for this unregistered version. No end...

How can I fix that?

L’application fait ce qu’on lui demande. À noter qu’il faut ajouter manuellement les clés USB dans le menu avant de pouvoir les nettoyer. De plus, l’application ne fonctionne que pour les clés formatées Windows, on ne peut pas nettoyer de clés au format Mac OS étendu ni le disque dur Macintosh HD.
Enfin, la traduction française est incomplète, la moitié des textes est en effet en anglais. Personnellement, je m’attendais à une meilleure qualité pour 13€.
(testé sous OS X 10.9.1 et MacBook Pro 15 pouces début 2011)

I use Dropbox and find it very frustrating to have a bunch of Mac OS dot files of all sorts crowding my dropbox folders when I go to my dropbox from a web browser or any other PC or tablet.

When I share a dropbox folder with others who are less familiar with Dropbox, they use to find a whole bunch of files in my shared folders starting with a dot. The files don’t work of course when clicked-on because they are Mac OS system files that just clutter the dropbox. Inexperienced users often don’t see the dot at the beginning of the file name, and think these files are regular files. They try and click on them to no avail and endup frustrated because they don’t launch. They then email back to me that my files are corrupt…

This application cleans all the messy dot files in my dropbox folder on the mac which then updates to dropbox. It does it efficiently, simply and quietly and keeps my dropbox clean from unnecessary clutter. Good app and frankly not that expensive either…

The problem of dot file management by Dropbox should actually be resolved by Dropbox. They should consider purchasing the rights to this simple software and suggest it as an option to Mac dropbox users who could activate the cleanup of their dropbox files everytime their dropbox is updated by the Mac. In the meantime, this little application just does the job.
