Has it ever happened that you were advised a movie, and you forget the title afterwards? Cinemaniac is your digital notebook, on which you can search, find and add in any moment any title of any movie you want to see.
You noticed an interesting movie at the cinema, but you're late, you're going to work or to the grocery store or to an important meeting? No panic: Cinemaniac is the solution for you! Add the title to the “Movies to watch” list in the app, and from there you can find it at any time: in the evening, on weekends, during leisure time, alone and in company.
You can see all the relevant details for any movie: plot, year of release, genre, length, trailer, cast, director, rating of users, production company, budgets, collections, similar movies and much more!
After seeing the movie, you can move it to the “Watched movies” list, and if you want you can leave your own personal grade.
If you need some inspiration you can browse through the various lists to find suggestions on the most popular and top rated movies. You can also refine your search by filtering movies by genre and year, according to your preferences. It will be easy for you to browse all the top rated movies, of your selected type. Moreover, if you often visit cinemas, you'll find a specific list relative to currently projected movies and upcoming titles.
It should be noted that this app does not offer streaming of copyrighted content

A un détail, c’était parfait
J’adore l’appli, elle est intuitive, ergo, les suggestions ne sont pas aberrantes comme sur just watch mais il manque vraiment un lien avec les plateformes de visionnage ( plutôt exhaustives sur just watch) et un système d’alerte qui permettait de savoir où et quand regarder le film non vu ( qui vient d’arriver sur Netflix, OCS crunchy roll etc.)
Je croise les doigts pour une version future 🤞

Depuis la possibilité de s’inscrire sous IOS , c’est bien d’en avoir pris note. Super pratique pour la cinéphile sans mémoire que je suis.
De nombreux bugs
C’est une application que j’utilise depuis quelques années maintenant. J’en ai toujours été satisfait sauf depuis quelques mois où de nombreux bugs ont commencé à voir le jour sans jamais être traités. Plus le temps passe et plus il y a de bugs.
Dans un premier temps ça a été le fait de regarder les bandes annonces en plein écran, impossible de sortir du plein écran. Obligation de quitter l’app, de la fermer et de la réouvrir.
Ensuite s’est ajouté le problème de freeze de l’appli. On recherche un film qui s’affiche mais impossible de cliquer dessus. Même manipulation, fermer et quitter l’application pour refaire la recherche mais refreeze souvent.
Et dernièrement la plus sympa, mon compte pro saute et je n’ai plus accès à ce que j’ai payé. Je clique plusieurs fois sur « restaurer les achats » mais ça ne marche pas tout le temps. Des fois il faut cliquer sur acheter la version pro et annuler pour que ça recharge.
Je déplore ce manque de mise à jour qui rend l’expérience vraiment très désagréable. J’ai tous mes films vus depuis des années sur cette application, ça m’ennuierait de devoir changer et repartir de zéro !
