The official app for Citi Bike, NYC’s bike share system.

Citi Bike consists of a fleet of specially designed, sturdy and durable bikes that are locked into a network of docking stations throughout the city. Our bikes can be unlocked from one station and returned to any other station in the system, making them ideal for one-way trips. Bike share is a greener, healthier way to get around — whether you’re commuting, running errands, meeting friends, or exploring in a new city.
The Citi Bike app gives you access to thousands of bikes in your area — unlock and pay directly from the app and get going.

The Citi Bike app also shows upcoming public transit departures, including MTA subway trains, shuttles, local, limited, & express buses, LIRR commuter rail trains, Metro-North commuter rail trains, PATH rapid transit trains, Bee-Line local & express buses, NYC Ferries, the Staten Island Ferry, the AirTrain JFK, the AirTrain Newark, the Roosevelt Island Tramway, and NJT commuter rail trains, light rail trains, & buses.

Great application and service but could be improved

This is really great to be able to unlock the bike with QR code. The application is working well as the bike globally.
But I don’t understand why there is no info on the screen of the new e-bike, it should have at least:
-The time
-The speed
-The duration of the trip
-The price?

And it would be great if is was possible to mount the phone for gps for example and the basket is too small and the elastic is almost always missing or broke

Superbe appli!

Je suis sur NY pour 4 mois mais j’ai pris l’abonnement annuel, qui revient pas très cher (184$).
Les vélos sont vraiment partout dans la ville.
Seule chose qui manque : un support intégré au vélo pour mettre son smartphone. C’est pratique lorsqu’on ne connaît pas forcément l’itinéraire bien que New-York soit facile de ce point de vue.

Tres pratique mais attention à bien verrouiller son vélo !

Paiement simple avec Apple Pay ou CB directement via l’appli et déverrouillage des vélos avec code unique à la station. Hyper pratique, c’est génial de découvrir NYC à vélo !
