Description

Resize photos to any size up to 8192 px and videos to any size up to 4k, reformat, orient and share them. Informative UI, 90+ templates and flexible settings are designed to facilitate these tasks.

DESQUEEZE FEATURES:

Resize Photos and Videos
• Enter a new size in pixels, aspect ratios, and percentages
• Resize in three different ways: Stretch, Ratio Clip, and Ratio Fit
• Choose between Normal and Smart size for more flexible resizing

Import Sources inside Desqueeze
• Select photos and videos from the Photo Library

Reformat Photos
• Choose between PNG, JPEG, HEIC, and TIFF image formats
• Specify compression quality for JPEG and HEIC formats
• Select Auto format to reuse the original image format when possible
• Specify photo DPI or use Automatic

Reformat Videos
• Choose between MP4, QuickTime (MOV), and M4V video formats
• Select Auto format to reuse the original video format when possible
• Choose video codec between Auto, H.264, and HEVC(H.265)
• Specify video bitrate or use Automatic

Edit Photos and Videos
• Flip and rotate images or videos
• Choose a fill color for Ratio Fit mode
• Adjust position and offset for Ratio Fit and Ratio Clip modes

Templates
• Use a universal set of built-in templates to resize photos and videos for specific platforms and standards, including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and more
• Create personal templates for your own tasks
• Duplicate standard templates and modify personal templates

Photo Viewer and Video Player
• Preview photos or play videos on the Result screen (long press a photo or video to preview)

Share Photos and Videos
• Save results to the Photo Library or Files app
• Share results via Instagram, Mail, Facebook, Messages, etc
• Use original or custom names for shared results

Version 4.1.0

Version 4.1.0 introduces Home Screen modes, a fresh design for in-app Settings, improved video processing, and essential bug fixes.

Added the ability to choose the Home Screen look and behavior between two options: Modern or Classic. This can be done on the first app launch or in Settings > Home Screen. The change is applied immediately and does not require app reloading.

Video processing now uses improved encoding logic, offering up to 1.5x better performance with no after-processing “lag.” It also requires up to 2x less disk space to fully process any video. An additional option in Settings now allows you to specify which Video Codec to use: Auto, H.264, or HEVC (H.265).

The Settings screen has been completely redesigned for improved appearance and organization:
• Updated the overall structure, with new sections such as Process and Encode, Metadata, Live Photo, Save and Export, and more.
• Added new options, including Video Codec, GPS Video Metadata, Original Filesize Suffix, and others.
• Reworked the Process and Encode settings for easier management.

Classic Home Screen has received more features:
• Implemented a new Templates screen with a Search bar for improved management.
• Added a Recents tab to quickly repeat the 10 most recently completed tasks.

The Summary Screen has received a few essential functionality improvements:
• Extended Global Settings with Save and Export, and Metadata sections, providing additional pre-processing customization without the need to return to the Home Screen.
• Updated the appearance of the Edit button for photos and videos to make it easier to find and use.

Bug fixes address essential issues that disrupted normal app functionality:
• Fixed a item selection bug on the Home Screen (Modern) that prevented items from retaining their selection order during editing and processing.
• Fixed an export bug that prevented sharing and saving photos and videos that had been auto-saved to the Photo Library.
• Fixed multiple minor bugs and stability issues.

Added a tiny watermark to resulting photos and videos for free users.

Juste génial !!!

L’app que je cherchais depuis des années. Au lieu de passer mille ans à réduire mes screenshots un à un pour limiter leur poids et donc impact carbone sur le cloud j’ai pu faire 2000 screenshots d’un coup. C’est juste génial ! Il ne manque que d’avoir l’app présente quand on touche le bouton exporter après avoir sélectionné quelques photos. Bravo aux développeurs !

MAJ sept2024 : ça serait super d’avoir un export vers du JPEG XL.

Crashes every time

Number of images in batch : 1-30.
Always took a long time to start, but now doesn’t start at all, and only crashes.

(This bug might be related to the photo library size, but it wouldn’t make logical sense.)
