Description

Spectroscopy is a powerful tool that allows to analyze matter from the spectral component of light. So far, it has been restricted to professionals, considering the cost, the size and complexity of the equipment.

Today, GoSpectro puts the power of spectroscopy in the hands of everyone, offering the world’s most compact and most simple light spectrometers. This application, combined with the GoSpectro accessory, allows to turn any smartphone into a light spectrometer in order to measure, record, analyze and export spectral data. It is the ideal companion for students, professionals or anyone who needs to measure a light spectrum on the go.

This enables to perform material characterization and analysis with an ultra-compact device natively connected to the internet, with applications in gemology (gem identification), food industry (color measurement, allergen detection), water quality (pollution detection), academia/teaching, anti-counterfeiting, art, etc.

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.

Here is the non exhaustive list of corrections and ameliorations:

- Intensity Calibration now works properly
- Menus are centered
- Splashscreen is displayed on the whole screen
- Mode Analyze now displays more spectrums
- "Find peak" now automatically enables the cursor display

Dommage qu’on ne puisse pas exporter les .txt

Cette appli et le gospectro sont intéressantes, mais il est dommage qu’on ne puisse pas exporter les données mesurées. Il y a bien un bouton « partager » disponible, mais il plante l’application. Peut-être fonctionnait-il avec les anciennes versions d’iOS, en 2016 quand l’application a été mise à jour pour la dernière fois ?

Great app for affordable light spectrum analysis

I discovered i’m light sensitive with led lightening and thanks to that app and device i can see led spectrum. I will use it to test different light filters to have efficient protective glasses. I bought many but only one helps me and it blocks too much light. This app is great, it could just be improved with data export to excel to use data on a computer.
