HOW WE KNOW WE'RE ALIVE is an award winning, hour long melancholy, narrative mystery set in the bible belt of Sweden.
Welcome to Härunga – a small industrial town in the bible belt of the mid–north of Sweden. You play as Sara, an aspiring writer who, after having been away for 10 years, returns home in order to investigate the tragic fate of her estranged best friend. The days grow short quickly this far up north – and the rain never seems to let up...
Lovingly crafted and richly animated, explore the melancholy atmosphere of a small town that time seemingly forgot. Meet old friends and enemies and piece together the mystery of what happened after your friendship tragically fell apart.
As in life, what you say will impact things in hidden ways and not everything may be as it seems. Who is telling whose truth and can you know the difference?

Il et super des regrets mène le jeux dommage qu’il soit pas en français mais avec le traducteur nickel
Beau mais très court
Je mets 4 étoiles car le jeu et le sujet du jeu sont beaux, mais je ne m’attendais pas à ce que ce soit aussi court (40mn, et c’est parce que j’ai tout regardé et que j’ai pris le temps), et qu’il n’y ait pas vraiment de « choix » à faire ni de recherches. C’est surtout une histoire à suivre, plus qu’un jeu d’enquête ou d’aventure, et si vous ne parlez pas anglais vous ne trouverez pas votre bonheur du coup, je pense !
Nice graphics and ambience
Would love to see more from this very talented team. A thoughtful story, if a little short. But I have no regrets to have spent a while exploring the narrative and pixel world they have created. Hopefully they will be back soon with a fully fledged game. Recommended if you want your heart strings plucked for an hour or so.
