Impaktor is a drum synthesizer with a vast sonic palette, that turns any surface into a playable percussion instrument.
You just slap your desk like you would a real drum. The real acoustical impulses from the built-in microphone are used as an excitation source for advanced sound modules that simulates behavior of membranes, cymbals, metallophones or strings. This makes Impaktor a highly responsive and expressive instrument.
With semi-modular architecture and several types of synthesis, Impaktor can produce a wide range of tones, from acoustic, like Tabla, Djembe, Marimba, Cymbals, Metal bars to electronic or industrial sounds.

Very inspiring app
Love this app - highly recommended.
Unfortunately there is no midi sync in, no midi sync out neither - that’s why 4 stars.

Une synthèse de percussions très avancée, avec un tas de paramètres qu’on peut éditer (complexe).
Un séquenceur original qui capte et enregistre la percussion manuelle.
On peut regretter de ne pouvoir changer le tempo une fois les boucles enregistrées (ça décale tout). Aussi qu’il n’y ait pas de midi in pour pouvoir utiliser ces excellents synthés percu avec d’autres séquenceurs et apps.
Incontournable !
Je suis musicos, mais pas percu, ceci dit, pour réaliser mes projets sur ipad cette appli est tout simplement incontournable ! Elle vient en complément de bons programmes de drum-machines et apporte les petits plus qu'un synthé de percu original et bien pensé peut procurer. Et dans le genre, j'ai pas trouvé mieux !
