HRV, PACED BREATHING AND CARDIAC COHERENCE
With Kardia, you can practice heart rate variability (HRV) training through paced breathing. By breathing at a specific rate, around 5.5 cycles/min, your HRV increases and becomes regular. This state is known as cardiac coherence, or cardio-respiratory coherence. Many scientific studies have demonstrated that it has beneficial effects on stress and anxiety level, blood pressure, depression and sleep.

The best breathing rate is different for everyone. With Kardia, you can set very precisely the exercise frequency, so you will just need a few tries to find out the value that gives you the best results.

Version 3.0

- Target mode and Advanced mode are now part of Kardia's free features, with the ability for everyone to set the breathing rate between 1 and 15 cycles per minute.
- The application's customization settings (sounds, display, vibrations) are accessible through the in-app purchase.
- If you have not made the in-app purchase yet, you have another 10 days to try out all the features of the App.

New features and improvements:
- You can now change the background color
- Full-screen display option: follow your exercise in the dark using the light projected by the screen on the walls and ceiling
- Vibration option: the device vibrates once at the end of each inhalation and exhalation, and three times at the end of the session
- Visual cues option: two circles indicate the minimum and maximum size of the sphere, making it easier to locate oneself in the breathing cycle
- Lock screen function allows to practice with your phone in your pocket
- A warning is displayed when the app is launched with the device in Silent Mode
- Improved layout of the user interface on iPhone X, XS and XR
- The three application modes are now accessible from a single button on the main screen

Découverte... Révélation... Appli formidable

J’avais entendu parler de la cohérence cardiaque. Ais les articles plus racoleurs les uns que les autres ne donnaient pas d’explications sur la manière et la façon de procéder. Les vidéos sur YouTube se contentaient de musiques et de courbes. Et j’ai voulu avoir sur mon assistant téléphone une appli, peut être trouverais-be quelque chose d’assez simple et compréhensible. J’en ai téléchargé 2 avant Kardia et toutes étaient bombardées de pubs et poussaient au forcing pour les achats intégrés😡😡😡 Puis je tombe sur Kardia... 10 jours d’essai pour la totale, et une appli SIMPLE, CLAIRE, INTUITIVE, et des explications très détaillées sur comment pourquoi. Je suis super ravi et effectivement je mesure les bienfaits depuis quelques jours. Merci au développeur, merci beaucoup 😊

3 notes de musique douce

Bonjour , j’aime employer votre appli en fermant les yeux et juste avec la musique . Je choisi soit les simples notes qui ponctuent la respiration in/out soit uniquement le vibreur. Ce qui pourraient être encore mieux ce sont trois notes au lieu d’une; une juste avant de terminer l’inspiration , une 2 eme sur l’arrêt de l’inspiration et une 3 eme pour repartir sur l’expiration . Et 3 notes à nouveau pour repartir sur l’inspiration. Merci bcp pour votre application.

Pour moi c’est une des meilleure appli pour la cohérence cardiaque. Psychologue je la conseille à mes patients. Étant spécialisée dans la gestion du sommeil les applis avec un font clair ou une boule bleue (cela envoie un signal d’éveil à notre horloge circadienne) ne me convenait pas faire pratiquer la CC à mes patients insomniaques le soir ou la nuit.

J’aimerais faire une demande aux développeurs: de pouvoir ajouter des temps de pause respiratoire (rétention à plein ou à vide) et pourquoi pas de pouvoir mémoriser nos pratiques préférées. Cela décuplerait les possibilités de pratiques !
