Description
This official Leap Top-Up app from Transport for Ireland (TFI) allows you to check your balance and top-up your TFI Leap Card - directly from your NFC-enabled iPhone.
Open the app and simply hold your TFI Leap Card to the back, top of your iPhone to instantly check your balance, collect a pre-paid ticket, or top-up your card – anytime, anywhere.
Key Features:
* Check your balance – see the current balance of any TFI Leap Card
* Top-up instantly by using the dial to select a top-up value or tap to enter your desired amount
* Collect pre-paid tickets e.g. Bus Éireann TaxSaver tickets or tickets bought online from LeapCard.ie
* View your last 5 transactions
* Receive receipts via email for top-ups made via the app
* Save your payment details
* View your card information at a glance
* View ticket information for tickets on your TFI Leap Card
Note: The Leap Top-up app's minimum requirement is an iPhone 7 running iOS 13.0.
Due to the NFC chips used on iPhone 7 and 7 Plus some users may experience scanning issues or delays when scanning their TFI Leap Card. If the app fails to read the card it is recommended to adjust the position of the card.

Good for topping up but…
This app is useful for topping up but it would be great if we could see if cap is reached and more history transactions.

Hello,
Thank you for your feedback. You will soon be able to view the Capping details on IOS in our new iOS release in the month of November. In order to view the detailed transaction history, please log into leapcard.ie website and create an account and access the details transaction history.

Doesn't work
Keep getting error message despite keying in all card details "Your payment did not proceed. Please correct the following and try again.
Please select correct Card Type."

We apologise for the difficulties you have experienced using the app.
When did the app last worked for you? If the issue is still persisting for you, please try deleting and re-downloading the app, and turn the NFC ON and OFF. Please also make sure that you have the latest version of the app and the OS of the device is updated to the latest one. I hope one of this resolves the issue. If the issue still persists, please reach out to us on betatest@nationaltransport.ie with screenshots and details about the issue. a
