Legacy Bible Church was founded on the basis of the Great Commission given by Jesus to His followers in Matthew 28 following His resurrection. Specifically, that commission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ, teaching them to observe all that Jesus commanded. We believe the two essential elements for making disciples are in-depth preaching of the Bible and mature worship of the one true God as revealed in Holy Scripture. Recognizing the importance and necessity of maintaining a collection of congregational songs that are inherited from previous generations and passed on to future generations, this church is chartered and established to primarily use historic Christian hymns and Gospel songs in congregational singing, while also being open to new congregational songs that we believe are textually and musically strong enough to endure for many years and are worthy of being passed on to the next generation of worshipers.
