This app will see EVERYTHING on your webpage including your phone numbers, credit card number etc... I can't understand how this is allowed on the App store.

Thanks for reaching out to us and we understand your concerns. With some of our core features (eBooks alternatives, article alternatives, highlight and search), our extension does require a few details to provide you with a seamless service.
In order to function, the extension needs to scrape the page for academic material IDs (like ISBN and DOI) and based on this information you getting redirected to a full text location. We can assure you, we do not collect any personal data and we also use highly advanced regular expressions when scraping the pages to make sure our extension only picks up DOIs and ISBNs.
