Description
Do you have some big photos or other images that cause other applications to freeze when you open them? MacroScope is here to help.
MacroScope loads images into your RAM and provides a low-resolution preview for you to navigate through. You can zoom, pan and then export the image so that you can use it in your other editing applications.
Note that opening images in MacroScope requires a significant amount of RAM - around twice the uncompressed image size in fact. For example, if you want to open a 1.7GB photo file then RAM usage will peak at around 4.5GB.
All image formats natively supported by macOS will open in MacroScope.
