"Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim" is a vast magical world where you are honored with the crown of a tiny fairytale kingdom. When you become the head of the country all the responsibility for the land's prosperity rests on your royal shoulders. You will have to fight various enemies and monsters, explore new territories, manage economic and scientific developments and solve a heap of unusual and unexpected tasks. For example, what will you do when all the gold in the kingdom transforms into cookies? Or how will you bring back the trolls who robbed caravans and whose disappearance ruins the economy of the country?
The core feature of "Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim" is that you cannot control your citizens directly. There are a lot of heroes in your lands: valiant warriors and warlike barbarians, powerful wizards and grim necromancers, industrious dwarves and skilful elves plus many more. But all of them live their own lives and decide for themselves what to do at any moment. You are able to issue orders but heroes will follow your commands only for a sizeable reward.

Dommage
Le jeu aurait pu être génial.
MAIS pourquoi ne peut on pas donner d'ordre direct à ses unités ? Que ce soit pour attaquer ou bien explorer la carte, on peut uniquement influencer avec des drapeaux l'intelligence artificielle des unités. Sauf que ça ne fonctionne vraiment pas bien comme mécanisme de jeu. Par exemple je veux explorer une partie éloigner de la base, je met un drapeau au loin, au bout d'un moment un héros ira s'y déplacer en ligne droite. Une fois sur place je voudrais explorer les environs, donc je met un nouveau drapeau avec beaucoup d'or à même pas un écran du héros , et ben non ! Celui ci peut très bien envisager de retourner à la base.
C'est la même stupidité en combat, 5/6 héros se dirigent vers une base adverse pour attacher, ben celui au front peut très bien décider que c'est trop dangereux et rentrer tout seul à la base ...
Au début ça passe et vous gagner quand même, mais une fois que vous avez des missions dans un temps impartis, c'est juste énervant, frustrant et au final sans intérêt
Super jeu mais...
Jeux très sympathique qui est plus de gérer ses bâtiments et donner des consignes que de diriger ses troupes. Gros regret toutefois pour certains personnages, qui, à l'usage ne servent pas: les archers et les mages ainsi que les nécromants. En effet, au lieu de fuir le combat comme le font les prêtres quand un monstre va sur eux, ils restent devant l'ennemi même si un seul de leur coup suffit à les tuer. Vu qu'ils arrêtent pas de mourrir, et à moins de les suivre sans arrêt pour les rendre invisible, j'en achète jamais c'est de l'argent perdu.
2ème point: les prêtres, ils peuvent être 4 à soigner un seul guerrier alors qu'il n'a qu'un rat a battre. Ils peuvent pas aller voir un peu ailleurs ce qu'il s'y passe? Parfois j'ai 4-5 guerriers qui meurent faute de soin alors que les 4 prêtres sont au même endroit. C'est dommage.
Sinon jeu très prenant et très sympa.
