If you want to use the app without a Monument device, you'll need to buy a subscription.

Monument automatically stores and organizes all of your photos and videos by time, location, faces, and what's in them - making it easy for you to browse your memories. It also eliminates duplicates so you don't have to worry about that.

The Monument app on iOS automatically transfers photos from your phone to Monument.

Monument was built with your privacy in mind. Your content is always stored privately and under your control. We never analyze, profile, store, or access your contents or personal information by any means.

When you connect to your home Wi-Fi network, syncing will start automatically. This way, your transfer will be faster and your smartphone battery won't be drained as much.

Prometteur

Une proposition (boîtier + app) prometteuse… mais qui met beaucoup de temps à émerger ! Bien que le projet soit toujours suivi (mises à jour régulières), cela fait presque 2 ans que le matériel est sorti et que toute la promesse n’est pas encore remplie…
Mais l’app est correcte et aujourd’hui bien stable, et les nouvelles mises à jour apportent de plus en plus de fonctions attendues.

Please improve the software!

I had the first monument device for a long time, I was satisfied by what it did so I bought Monument 2 hoping it’ll be faster and all the rest that is promoted on the website! The hardware is very good but the software needs a lot of work, doesn’t regroup similar photos, you can not make it search for duplicates, maybe when you add photos but ignores many, it doesn’t look for faces, you have to add them manually photo by photo, (the M1 found faces automatically) the transition from M1 to M2 was a total disaster, I lost all the albums, favorites, and days of trying to sort it all out, so it is better to start fresh without any previous database… It could be the perfect solution if only the software was better!
