Pangea Chat allows students to learn and practice a language through real conversations with real people on topics they choose–not scripts or pre-chosen topics involved!

As Pangea Chat is curriculum agnostic, there’ll be no more “The cat likes to drink milk” or “I am an orange”-- If students want to talk about sustainability, that's what they'll learn. If they want to talk about medical procedures, business negotiations, veganism, or cryptocurrency, they can do that, too! The list of possibilities is endless.

WHAT CAN I DO WITH PANGEA CHAT?

MESSAGE PEERS: Use Pangea Chat to have students learn and practice languages while texting with their friends!

LEARN AND PRACTICE LANGUAGES: Our in-app tools like interactive translation, interactive grammar checking, and dictionaries will make sure students have everything they need to jump right into their new language.

CONVERSATION PARTNERS: Students can connect with international peers for intercultural and language exchanges (available to users 18+).

CLASS EXCHANGES (coming soon): Teachers can connect their classes with other teachers from around the world.

PERSONALIZED LEARNING: Students can talk about what’s 100% relevant to them. Pangea Chat has no set curriculum or mandatory activities. Students will create their own language learning experience through the messages they send.

TRACK YOUR LEARNING (coming soon): Pangea Chat will collect language learning and engagement data to track language learning progress and engagement: how often they’re using their new language, how many messages they’re sending, how much they’re using the in-app support tools, and more!

LEARNING DICTIONARY (coming soon): Students can choose words they want to learn from conversations they’re having, and add them to their unique dictionary.

PRACTICE ACTIVITIES (coming soon): Pangea Chat will use the conversations students have to create personalized learning activities to help them progress in your language learning journey.
