Description

PicArrange helps to find images on your computer much easier than ever before. Unlike the Finder app, PicArrange can sort images not only by name or date, but also by content and color. This visual sorting mode allows to browse and search large amounts of images much faster. You can also display visually sorted images from multiple directories at the same time, making it easier to find duplicate images.

In addition to the visual sorting mode, PicArrange offers a similarity search that allows you to find images that are similar to one or more sample images. With PicArrange image files can be deleted, copied or opened with Preview or other apps.

Awesome to find by similarity

If like me you sometimes save PSD files or exports in some random "not too organized" folder and then need to find back all similar images you've generated out of this PSD, this app is a live saver. Thanks a lot to the Dev! It works with PSD of course.

Total disappointment

This is really weird... The app was designed to simplify image sorting, but failed to accomplish its most important role.
The fact is that it does not even allow saving images in the folder, after sorting them in the correct order. At first, I thought for a moment that I had finally found the app I had been looking for for so long.
Impossible...

In PicArrange, the sorting will be displayed exactly the same the next time you open the
same folder and choose the same sorting. If you also want to see the images in the new sorting order in Finder, this is only possible if you select all the images and then export them with a new name so that Finder also understands this order.

Or have I not understood your problem correctly?
