Description
Turn your iPhone or iPad into a pointer and controller for PowerPoint or Keynote presentations. Has 'Next Slide' and 'Previous Slide' controls, and can show notes from presentations on the iPhone display along with a timer. Pointer icon can easily by replaced by any image, which could be used for humorous purposes. Touch the screen to show the pointer - which is controlled either by dragging your finger around the screen (easy) or by orientation (takes a little practice) - your choice.
Requirements: Computer running Mac OS X 10.7 or higher, WiFi connection (on the same local network or by creating a computer-to-computer network), and PowerPoint or Keynote (choose the program on the back side of the App). Please note that this app cannot control an iPad Keynote presentation.
A small Mac application, PointerServer, must be downloaded to your computer and started whenever Pointer is used. This program is available for free at:

Please note that the presentation runs on your computer, not directly from the iPhone or iPad. Instead the iPhone/iPad controls the computer.

Un systeme de connection qui a marche du premier coup, contrairement a certain de ses concurrents. L'interface n'est pas tres design et l'absence de mode portrait se fait sentir. En revanche pour 79ct ce soft remplit parfaitement sa fonction, est simple a mettre en place et a utiliser et integre meme un pointeur. Je conseille

C'est faux à ce jour ! Cette application répond exactement à mes besoins a savoir : pouvoir piloter ma Keynote avec mon iphone. Pour cela, il suffit sur le mac de créer un reseaux d'ordinateurs à ordinateurs (très simple avec l'outils gestion de reseaux automatique). Télécharger avant sur le site de Zentropy l'utilitaire pointer. Lancer le reseaux, lancer "pointer" sur le mac puis Keynote (avec votre présentation). Lancer l'appli sur son iphone, il doit reperer votre mac, selectionner celui et Hop, c'est parti. Appli vraiment complette, on peut même voir ses commentaires pour aider à la présentation. Vous pouvez utiliser l'outils pointer durant celle-ci. Du beton je vous dis. De quoi être un vrai pro. Bravo à ce prix là, faut pas se gener.
Peut mieux faire
Ne pas oublier de choisir l'application Powerpoint ou Keynote dans les infos sur l'iPod/iPhone, sinon, rien ne fonctionne.
Les notes Powerpoint ne sont pas toujours affichées sur l'iPod. L'indicateur bleu signale bien une note mais le texte n'est pas lisible, remplacé par (null)
