Learn and practise Russian verbs with this interactive verb reference and drill tool. With over 120 core verbs presented across present, past and future tenses (imperfective and perfective), Russian Verb Blitz is a clear and effective way to revise and refresh your grammar skills whilst also expanding your everyday vocabulary.

As well as a verb reference tool, the app offers a suite of intensive verb drill activities to quiz your conjugation knowledge, including:

- Infinitive quiz: do you know the meaning of the each verb?
- Conjugation quiz: can you select the correct, conjugated verb form for the English translation?
- Snap quiz: can you spot when the Russian and English sentences match? Try to get ten in a row!
- Gapfill: can you spell out the missing word in the conjugated sentence?

In the settings, you can select which tenses to drill in the games. So whether you're a beginner, or already on the way to mastery, there's a level for you!

The app will track your scores throughout the games, so you can check in the Performance section at any time to see the entries you're finding trickiest.

The verbs selected represent some of the most commonly used Russian words, so Russian Verb Blitz is a great way to increase and practise your everyday vocabulary, too!

Version 3.0

This update sees a big upgrade to v3 of the Verb Blitz engine! Amongst the general interface and activity makeovers, improvements include the following:

- The perfective of verbs has been more clearly marked where available
- Past tense game answers have been broken down by gender for more fine-tuned practice
- Thematic verb topics have been added to select in the games

A couple of extra verbs have also been added to the bank for good measure! We hope you enjoy the updates, and as always, let us know your feedback if you have any ideas for making the app even more effective for practising your Russian.
