Finally: Everything you need to ride public transport, all in one app. You can plan your journey, buy a ticket and set up a personal profile when you ride with us. With the Ruter app, you can also:
• See departures in real time
• Save places you visit often
• See how crowded the bus is in real time
• Filter modes of transport
• Get relevant service disruption information
• Find the nearest available city bike
• See how long it takes to bike or walk
If you set up a personal profile:
• Tickets, history and favourites will be safely stored with us – even if you change phones
• We can offer you quicker and more convenient customer service
This is just the beginning of the new app – we’ll finish it together. More and better features will be available in the future.

Mistakes were made and tiny bugs appeared in our machinery. They were spotted by our spies on board and subsequently dealt with. Everything should be back on track now.

Google maps is more accurate
For one month I am using this app, and comparing with google maps, as both give very often different travel options. Until now, I should always have followed google maps advices rather than Ruter. This would have make me avoid many delays, connections missed, etc. Ruter will reimburse you for delays, but only if the planned connection time is more than 5min, and it of course only suggests you connection with less than 3min.
Inaccurate timing !
At many occasions the timing on this new app is not accurate .. I’m late for work today because the app says that the 250 bus is departing 14:43 but it actually comes 14:54!
This is not what I’m expecting of Ruter when paying an extremely expensive ticket of 1409 kr a month!
