The accuracy of this speedometer is subject to the accuracy of the GPS
on your iPhone. Our GPS accuracy indicator helps you quickly see when
you're getting a good signal when the green light is on. The following
general rules will help you quickly get a good GPS signal:
• keep the unit in the line of sight of the sky
• try to stay close to the same position for a few moments
while the device gets a GPS lock
• even with a good GPS signal reading, the unit may take a
little bit of time on startup to get a GPS lock on especially when you
are moving fast
Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Marche bien, mais...
Dès que le signal GPS est faible, le compteur de distance devient fou et comptabilise comme si je roulais à plus de 280km/h (3.2km en 40s, entre 2 changements d'affichage).
Pourtant l'appli pourrait être très pratique pour moi en vélo, elle est capable de tourner en tâche de fond ou iPhone éteint (dans la poche).
To the developer : the trip counter goes nuts when the GPS signal gets low or nonexistent (like when I lock my bike and get into a shop). It increases as if I was doing 280km/h instead of pausing. Urgent update needed !!!

Mais comment faire pour mesurer sa vitesse si l'on doit "rester un peu immobile pour rechercher le signal GPS"?
Top speed
Très bien. Simple et efficace. Un seul regret, la vitesse maxi des tachymètres est figée et ne peut donc être modifiée, selon les vitesses atteintes. Par exemple, 25 noeuds en mer, c'est vite largement dépassé avec une vedette rapide.
