Description
Strike and Dip turns your iPhone into a pocket transit. Take strike & dip measurements, bearings, plunge, and all that geological goodness, while simultaneously getting your latitude, longitude, and elevation. Save your measurements as notes, and add photos to your notes. Now also with maps (geological in the U.S. and some other parts of the world) that show the locations of all your saved data. Customizable to how you work: choose between azimuth and quadrant formats for bearings, three formats for coordinates, meters and feet, and three different formats for strike and dip.

Vert useful app
Had to check precision compared to a regular geological compass, I was surprised how accurate this is!
Very practical interface, keeps it simple, everything is found easily and quickly.
I love that GPS coordinates and strike/dip are accessible on the same tab.
Most ways to describe strike and dip are available. Would be useful to have the option to limit the azimuth to 0-180°, this way it would truly be 5 stars.

Thanks for the suggestion! Just to make sure I follow, there is a north-half option, which constrains all azimuths to lie between 270-360-90. Are you suggesting something similar, except that all azimuths would lie between 0 and 180 (an east-half option)?
