What happened?
I always loved Game Stew games. The gameplay, the originality of the mechanics, the pixel style… I thought that maybe they came up with a new concept this time, but I was disappointed. What I got was a bland card game, and even the execution of the tutorial and game in general isn’t that good. The art is just made by AI (probably Midjourney judging by the style), the story and dialogues felt like written by a child. Even the card mechanics aren’t interesting in any way… I could always buy Game Stew games without even thinking but now I’m sad to say that I will think twice before getting anything from them from now on.
