Description
TPS is a tool for calculating the minimum effective tourniquet pressure required to achieve a bloodless field while mitigating the risk of injury from excessive pressure.
TPS employs a simplified version of Graham's formula, which determines the obstruction pressure based on systolic and diastolic parameters, as well as the perimeter of the compressed limb and tourniquet width.
