Application sympa

L’application fait bien le boulot et elle est bien personnalisable. Par contre il y a un bug au niveau du widget quand vous appuyer dessus pour avancer ou reculer de titres, le widget fait un saut est s’ouvre brièvement sur le menu. Ce que je trouve très désagréable visuellement.

I surely understand that you may find the jumping of widget to app when tapping playback controls a bit strange but it’s unfortunately due to a limitation in iOS.

Here’s a detailed explanation:
In iOS, widgets aren’t allowed to perform tasks themselves, they must assign the task to its parent app and open it, what WidgetPod does is quickly kick you out of the app when it’s done with the task. Without the kicking out, the app would simply stay open until it’s manually closed. Unfortunately, since this is an iOS limitation on how Widgets work, we couldn’t bypass that and this is the best that’s possible. Hope you understand.

I have a tip if it helps:
If you enable Reduce Motion in Settings.app > Accessibility > Motion, the flickering becomes less obtrusive, but that does disable some more animations iOS wide. If that’s something you don’t mind, you can enable it.

Cette application permet l’utilisation d'un widget « Now Playing » pas encore intégré à iOS et ce, malgré les limitations des widgets. Bravo aux développeurs. Le prix est justifié pour le confort que ce type de widgets rajoutent.

We wish it was possible to add support for Podcasts app but unfortunately iOS doesn’t provide us with APIs to read what is playing in the podcasts app and therefore we couldn’t add support for Podcasts. Hope you understand.
