In Wingspan up to 5 players compete to build up their nature preserves in a limited number of turns. Each beautiful bird that you add to your preserve makes you better at laying eggs, drawing cards, or gathering food. Many of the 170 unique birds have powers that echo real life: your hawks will hunt, your pelicans will fish, and your geese will form a flock.

Une adaptation sublime
Ce jeu est l’exemple même d’un portage de jeu de plateau parfaitement réussi et maîtrisé. Tout y est : une interface intuitive, un tutoriel clair et concis, de belles animations, une version française, une bande son et une ambiance sonore (notamment le bruit des oiseaux) d’excellente qualité ainsi que quelques options de personnalisation comme des avatars et des plateaux de jeu différents. Et le tout sans aucun fichu achat intégré ! J’ai très hâte de voir les 2 extensions portées à leur tour.
Excellent jeu, interface originale
Quel plaisir de retrouver le jeu de plateau dans une interface au design soigné.
L’ergonomie n’est pas toujours optimale : difficultés à lire les cartes oiseaux à piocher en 3D en résolution moyenne, animations sympas mais un peu longue, visualisation des propriétés des oiseaux en changeant le type d’affichage des cartes qui n’est pas évident. J’aurais aimé pouvoir cliquer sur une carte pour la voir en grand.
L’application plante très régulièrement sur IPad 2018.
Fabuleux
Jeu découvert grâce à l’application et j’avoue que j’ai été bluffé. Le gameplay est simple épuré et pourtant très stratégique, on sent que les auteurs ont voulu garder l’essentiel. Résultat : des parties rapides mais passionnantes. En plus les graphismes sont magnifiques, l’ambiance adorable et zen.
J’ai été tellement séduit que j’ai acheté la version boîte !
