APPS WE LOVE

Apollo for Reddit

Apollo for Reddit is an excellent alternative to the official app, with stacks of useful features and tonnes of settings you can tweak for an even more personalised Reddit experience.

Apollo has clearly been designed by someone who spends a lot of time on Reddit, because the app is full of things that’ll delight power users.

For example, there’s the ability to change the appearance on a per-subreddit basis, the Jump Bar for quickly moving between subreddits, and a big selection of customisable gestures for common tasks such as upvoting, downvoting and navigating between posts.

If you love Reddit, Apollo has loads of handy features to improve your browsing experience.

Apollo also brings you an excellent Markdown composer for creating compelling posts, a lightning-fast media viewer, and full Imgur integration for sharing your own shots.

The app also uses the Safari View Controller for linked articles, delivering the full Safari experience instead of a basic browser view. The app supports multiple accounts, and you can lock the app with Face ID, Touch ID or a passcode lock.

We like Apollo a lot, and it gets even better with every update. If you spend a lot of time on Reddit, it will make that time even more entertaining.
