My favourite app
Everyone should get this app there’s no downside! I saw my friend using it and was hooked by the concept. I can’t say I’m perfect at keeping up with it I definitely missed a lot of days but I don’t mind. I’m always taking pictures and videos of things in my day that seem significant to “look back on later” but never do because a few days later I’ll have forgotten, this is such an amazing way to look back over all those little (or big) moments of my life and let me reflect on how much has gone on. I always watch my year video but for the last couple months coming up to new year I’ve been trying not to do that I can watch it at the end of the year and have a sort of surprise! Can’t wait to start again next year!
P.S. something handy for apple users is that live photos can be used as videos for your one second which is great when Ive forgotten to take a video of something I wanted to put in!

Good, but some irritating updates
I really love this app, it’s been a really wonderful way to document my young family’s life. But... the last couple of updates have been irritating. Sound is a bit hit and miss in the app, and the video resizes itself so it doesn’t fit the screen. If I click the mash all and then orientation buttons then it usually resolves itself, but it’s a pain. I contacted them about it and they responded very quickly, but only to say I should close the app and turn off my phone... It didn’t help. However the latest update is really irritating. They’ve always had branding at the end of the video, which is absolutely fine and I’ve been more than happy with that given I have the app for free. But now it’s also in the corner over all the snippets and just feels intrusive. Paying for pro feels expensive - I recently went pro for a really amazing video editing app that has an incredible music list, filters galore, neat transitions and effects and the ability to edit clips together, and it was a third cheaper than 1SE, and that’s when 1SE is on sale. I feel like I’d be paying almost £30 just to remove the branding. Not happy.
